Taxi Drivers for Change are to mount another protest in Dublin city this coming Friday, March 20th. Details are sketchy as of yet but members of the group are being instructed to meet at Airside and Liffey Valley with protest action taking place between the hours of 8a.m. and 2p.m.
Last week, Goodbody Economic Consultants published their “Economic Review of the Small Public Service Vehicle Industry” document which doesn’t echo the claims of TDFC members who believe the current system of taxi regulation needs to be changed and in particular, a need to cap the number of available taxi licenses.
